Wednesday 8 August Overnight Stow on the Wold Arrive Birmingham Airport where we will meet you and take you to Beckford Silk Mill
where you can have an independent lunch in The Coffee Shop followed by a private tour of the art and design rooms, dye kitchen and silk screen studio. Continue on to your hotel in Stow on the Wold. Welcome
afternoon tea or early dinner (depending on time of arrival) at the hotel and early night.

Thursday 9 August Overnight Stow on the Wold Today drive to the Wildfowl & Wetlands Trust Slimbridge for the ‘Flight” exhibition,
followed by a visit to Gloucester and the Beatrix Potter “Tailor of Gloucester” location and Gloucester Cathedral. Time permitting, there may be an opportunity to
stop en route at Catherine Shinn’s Decorative Textiles shop in Cheltenham. Dinner
in your hotel this evening.

Friday 10 August Overnight Stow on the Wold Today you will visit Chipping Campden where you will be able to explore the village and visit the Campden Quilt Shop
. Continue on to Hidcote Manor Gardens for a tour of the garden and manor house. Independent dinner this evening.

Saturday 11 August Overnight Usk Depart Stow on the Wold and head for Tintern Abbey followed by Susie Vaughan
in Llansoy and a visit to her basket-making studio and garden. After lunch here continue on to your hotel in the village of Usk. Independent dinner this evening. B L
Sunday 12 August Overnight Usk Today you will visit the Welsh Folk Museum, an outdoor museum of period homes and shops, including the textiles and costume
collection. Continue on to Court Cupboard Craft Centre. Independent dinner this evening.

Monday 13 August Overnight Usk Today visits will include a tour of the American Museum at Bath including its quilt collection. Continue on to the
Museum of Costume. There will also be some free time for shopping and independent sightseeing. Independent dinner this evening. B
Tuesday 14 August Overnight Crickhowell Today a visit to Jen Jones Welsh Quilts
for a viewing of her private collection of quilts and blankets including a c.1810 Tree of Life quilt, newly acquired from the Pembrokeshire family who originally quilted it. Tea
at Jen’s home and shopping in her cottage shop. Continue on to your hotel in Crickhowell. Independent dinner this evening. B T
Wednesday 15 August Overnight Crickhowell Today a full day studio tour and workshop with Marie Roper, British quilt and textile artist. Morning
coffee, studio tour and talk here. Lunch at a local pub, followed by a workshop in the afternoon. Independent dinner this evening.

Thursday 16 August Overnight Birmingham Today a free morning in Hay on Wye for shopping, independent sightseeing and lunch. In the early afternoon continue on to
your hotel in Birmingham. Independent dinner this evening.

Friday 17 August Overnight Birmingham Full day at the Festival of Quilts, followed by dinner at the International Night
this evening.

Saturday 18 August Overnight Birmingham Another full day at the Festival of Quilts. Independent dinner this evening. B
Sunday 19 August Departure Breakfast and transfer to Birmingham Airport for flights home. B
