Welcome to Handcrafted Holidays!
My name is Kathy Brassill and I am the owner of Handcrafted Holidays.
I am interested in creating connections between people like you who share common creative interests.
Handcrafted Holidays is all about showing you how travelling to Great Britain and Ireland in pursuit of your creativity allows you to:
- Meet people who share an interest and love of the same things you do
- Connect with your travel destination in a meaningful and memorable way
- Learn new skills or polish old ones by taking a workshop or a course
- Really participate in your holiday by attending guild meetings,
or going to special events that are aimed at your interests
- Return home with materials and treasures that you can put to use
in your future art projects
We design and lead Fiberart, Craft & Textile Tours that offer you the opportunity to explore the UK & Ireland in a unique,
creative, and very personal way.
On our tours you will meet artists who are steeped in the traditions and skills of their craft, while creating their own exciting &
contempory work. You’ll discover shops & galleries, attend festivals and fairs, learn new skills through demonstrations and hands-on workshops.
We also design independent Holidays and
Sabbaticals to Great Britain and Ireland around Fiberart, Fabric, Textile, Craft, & Gardening interests.
As a member of many textile, fiberart, and craft organizations in the UK, I have access to a wide range of contacts and sources of information. Here are some of the organizations of

- Friends of Victoria & Albert Museum
- The International Feltmakers Association
